Hair and Space Museum – A Double Rainbow in Curved Air

Last Saturday night, cosmic duo Hair and Space Museum (a.k.a. Emily and David from Midday Veil) gave an all-night performance to a roomful of drone fiends camped out in sleeping bags at Seattle University’s Hedreen Gallery. Inspired in part by Terry Riley’s legendary All-Night Flights of the late 1960s, the duo’s piece A Double Rainbow in Curved Air consisted of a continuous 12-hour minimalist improvisation paired with a non-repeating stream of kaleidoscopic video projections derived from the Double Rainbow YouTube sensation.
